Via iDrive:
1. "CAR".
2. "Settings".
3. "Key button settings".
4. Select the symbol.
5. Select the desired setting:
- "Tailgate"
The trunk lid is opened.
- "Tailgate and door(s)"
The trunk lid is opened and the doors are
unlocked.

5. Select the desired setting:
- "Unlock when approaching"
- "Lock when walking away"
Establishing idle state after
opening the front doors

Opening the front doors establishes the idle
state.

Concept
Using this system, a desired speed and a distance
to a vehicle ahead can be adjusted using
the buttons on the steering wheel.
The system maintains the desired speed on
clear roads. For this purpose, the vehicle accelerates
or brakes automatically.
If a vehicle is driving ahead of you, the
Adaptive recuperation uses the data and calculations of the route-ahead
assistant. In this way,
adaptive recuperation can be used by the navigation system when route guidance
is both active and
not being used. When the route guidance is not active, the most likely route is
used for evaluation.
